What is an AI camera system?
An AI camera system combines IP or analog CCTV cameras with on-edge or server video analytics that automatically detect events — theft, intrusion, PPE non-compliance, fire and smoke, number plates (ANPR), faces and people counts — instead of relying on someone watching screens. IndoAI delivers the full system: cameras, the 16-channel Edge Box that runs the AI models on-premise, storage, networking accessories and the IndoAI app.
Can IndoAI work with my existing CCTV cameras?
Yes. The IndoAI Edge Box adds 65+ AI models to existing IP cameras in place, and connects to analog/DVR systems through an encoder. Most sites keep their current hardware and add intelligence rather than doing a rip-and-replace. After a site survey, the camera count is often reduced.

What is edge analytics versus cloud analytics?
Edge analytics runs AI models on the on-premise Edge Box, so video is processed locally with no per-frame cloud cost and lower latency. Cloud analytics sends video to remote servers. IndoAI runs models on-edge by default for cost control, privacy and reliability when connectivity is poor.
