IndoAi is an Indian AI-powered video surveillance company based in Pune. We design, supply, and manage intelligent CCTV systems for businesses across India — factories, housing societies, hospitals, schools, retail, and commercial spaces — combining cameras with AI models and a single IndoAi dashboard and mobile app.

How is AI CCTV different from regular CCTV?

Regular CCTV only records footage; AI CCTV understands it. IndoAi systems can detect intrusions, recognise faces or number plates, count people, flag safety violations, and send real-time alerts — so you act on events as they happen instead of reviewing hours of recordings afterwards.

Where is IndoAi located and which areas do you serve?

IndoAi is headquartered in Pune and serves businesses across India. We plan most systems digitally, so we can support customers nationwide without needing a physical visit for every project.

Is IndoAi a camera brand or a service provider?

Both. We supply and integrate cameras and devices, but our core product is the intelligence and management layer — the IndoAi AI models, dashboard, and app — that sits on top of the hardware. Whatever camera you buy through us is unified under one IndoAi experience.

Who is IndoAi for?

IndoAi is built for businesses and institutions, not casual home users. Our typical customers are factories, residential and commercial societies, hospitals and clinics, schools and campuses, retail chains, and offices that need reliable, intelligent surveillance.

Why should I choose IndoAi over a local CCTV installer?

What products does IndoAi sell?

IndoAi supplies AI-ready cameras, recorders and edge devices, storage, networking and mounting accessories, and the AI models and software that run the system — all available to plan and order on shop.indo.ai.

Do you sell only cameras, or complete systems?

We sell complete, planned systems rather than loose cameras. Our tools size the full solution — cameras, lenses, storage, bandwidth, and AI models — so you receive a working surveillance system, not just boxes.

Which camera brands or types do you support?

IndoAi supports a controlled, curated range of cameras and devices that we have tested and integrated. We deliberately keep the catalogue controlled so that every device we supply is verified to work with the IndoAi dashboard, app, and AI models — no compatibility surprises.

Will the cameras I buy work with the IndoAi dashboard and app?

Yes — always. Every camera or device you buy through IndoAi is integrated into the IndoAi dashboard and mobile app. Regardless of the underlying hardware, your front-end experience is always IndoAi. We make the effort to bring each and every camera and device into our own interface.

Can I use my existing cameras with IndoAi?

In many cases, yes. If your existing cameras meet our compatibility requirements, we can integrate them into the IndoAi dashboard and add AI on top. Share your current setup and we'll confirm what's compatible.

What's the difference between edge and cloud processing?

Edge means the AI runs on a device at your site; cloud means it runs on remote servers. Edge gives faster, offline-capable alerts and lower bandwidth use; cloud gives easier scaling and central management. Do I need internet for IndoAi cameras to work?

For recording and on-site AI, no — edge systems work offline. For remote viewing through the app, cloud AI, and real-time alerts to your phone, an internet connection is required.

What accessories do you provide?

IndoAi supplies the supporting equipment a system needs — mounts, cabling, power supplies, switches and PoE, storage drives, and recorders — so the solution is complete and correctly sized.

AI Capabilities & Accuracy

What can IndoAi's AI actually detect?

IndoAi's AI can perform tasks such as intrusion and perimeter detection, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), facial recognition, people counting, loitering and crowd detection, and safety-compliance checks like PPE and helmet detection in factories. The exact models deployed are matched to your use case.

How accurate is the AI?

Accuracy depends on camera placement, lighting, resolution, and the use case — which is why IndoAi plans these factors up front. Our planning tools check pixel density, lens choice, and low-light suitability for each requirement so the AI gets the image quality it needs to perform reliably.

Does facial recognition work at night or in low light?

Only if the camera and lighting are correctly specified for it. IndoAi's low-light suitability and pixel-density tools determine whether a given spot can support facial recognition or ANPR, so we don't promise features the setup can't deliver.

Will I get a lot of false alarms?

A well-planned system minimises false alerts. Correct camera placement, tuned detection zones, and the right AI model dramatically reduce noise, so the alerts you receive are the ones worth acting on.

Can the AI tell me who entered a restricted area?

Yes, where facial recognition or access zones are configured and feasible for that location. The system can flag unauthorised entry into restricted zones and, where enabled and lawful, identify known individuals.

Do the AI models get updated over time?

Yes. AI models and dashboard features are updated so your system keeps improving after purchase. Updates are delivered as part of an active AMC or subscription.

What is the IndoAi dashboard?

The IndoAi dashboard is the single web interface where you view all your cameras, watch live and recorded footage, receive AI alerts, and manage every site from one place. It is the heart of the IndoAi experience and is always IndoAi-branded, regardless of the camera hardware.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. The IndoAi mobile app lets you view live feeds, get instant alerts, and manage your cameras from anywhere.

Will my dashboard and app always be IndoAi-branded?

Yes. Whatever equipment you purchase, the front-end — dashboard and mobile app — is always IndoAi. We integrate every camera and device into the IndoAi interface so you have one consistent, unified system rather than a mix of third-party apps.

Can I manage multiple sites or branches from one account?

Yes. The IndoAi dashboard is built for multi-site management, so a factory group, retail chain, or society federation can monitor all locations from a single login.

Can I give different access to different team members?

Yes. You can create users with role-based access — for example, a guard who only views live feeds versus an admin who manages settings and exports footage.

Can I access my cameras remotely?

Yes. With an internet connection you can view live and recorded footage and receive alerts from anywhere through the IndoAi app or web dashboard.

How do I receive alerts?

Alerts are delivered in real time through the IndoAi app and dashboard, so the right people are notified the moment an event is detected.

Can I export or download footage?

Yes. Authorised users can export footage clips for records or incident reporting, subject to your retention settings and access permissions.

How do I buy a CCTV system from IndoAi?

You can plan and order your system online at indo.ai. Use our solution builder and calculators to size the system for your space, review the recommended kit, and place your order — or talk to our team for a custom requirement.

What are the IndoAi planning tools?

They're free online tools at indo.ai that help you plan a surveillance system — including camera coverage, AI quantity estimation, lens selection, storage, bandwidth, pixel density, and feasibility checks for face recognition and ANPR. They replace manual site guesswork with AI-guided recommendations.

Do I need a site visit before ordering?

Not usually. IndoAi's online tools let you plan most systems digitally, which avoids the delay of a site visit. For large or complex sites we can arrange a physical survey.

Can I get a custom quote or BOQ?

Yes. Our tools generate a recommended bill of quantities (BOQ) automatically, and our team can prepare a custom quote for larger or specialised requirements.

Is there a minimum order value?

There's no minimum for individual accessories on the shop. Full projects begin with the standard ₹25,000 deposit, which is adjusted against your final invoice.

How do I know I'm ordering the right system?

The IndoAi tools size the system to your actual needs — area, coverage, lighting, and the AI features you want — so the recommendation is based on requirements, not guesswork. Our team also reviews larger orders before they're confirmed.

Can I modify my order after placing it?

Yes, before the order is dispatched. Contact us with your changes and we'll update the BOQ and invoice accordingly. Once items are procured or custom-configured, changes may not be possible.

How long does delivery and setup take?

In-stock items are dispatched within 2–3 business days and typically delivered within 3–7 business days. Installation is usually scheduled within 5–10 business days of delivery, depending on system size.

Why is IndoAi's catalogue 'controlled'?

Because every device we sell is tested and integrated with the IndoAi platform. A controlled, curated catalogue guarantees that whatever you buy works with our dashboard, app, and AI models — no orphan hardware and no compatibility surprises.

Pricing, Payments & Billing

How much does an IndoAi system cost?

Cost depends on the number of cameras, the AI features you need, storage, and site complexity. The fastest way to get an indicative figure is to use the planning tools on indo.ai.tools.html or request a quote from our team.

How does IndoAi's payment model work?

IndoAi uses a deposit model. You begin a project with a ₹25,000 deposit, and the balance is billed against your agreed quote — typically in milestones across order confirmation, dispatch, and commissioning.

What does the ₹25,000 deposit cover?

The deposit secures your project — final planning, BOQ lock, and scheduling — and is adjusted in full against your final invoice when the order completes.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are processed securely online via Razorpay, supporting UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets. For large projects we also accept NEFT/RTGS bank transfers.

Is there a subscription or recurring fee?

Hardware, accessories, installation, and on-prem/edge AI are one-time charges. Cloud recording, cloud AI analytics, and cloud app access are billed as a subscription, per camera or per site. We confirm the exact plan in your quote.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

Prices are shown exclusive of GST, and 18% GST is added at checkout (this lets your business claim input tax credit). A GST tax invoice with our GSTIN is always provided.

Do you offer EMI or financing?

Card EMI is available via Razorpay at checkout. Business financing for larger projects can be discussed case by case — just ask our team.

Is the deposit refundable if I cancel?

If you cancel before any planning or BOQ work has begun, the deposit is fully refundable. If design work has already been done, a planning fee may be retained. Once procurement or custom configuration starts, the deposit is non-refundable.

Will I get a proper invoice for my business?

Yes. IndoAi provides a GST-compliant tax invoice with our GSTIN for every purchase, so you can claim input tax credit.

Installation & Onboarding

Does IndoAi install the cameras, or do I?

Professional installation by IndoAi or our authorised partners is recommended, because correct placement is what makes the AI accurate. For simple plug-and-play kits, self-installation with remote guidance is also supported.

How does installation work after I order?

After your order is confirmed, we deliver the hardware, mount and connect the cameras, set up the network, configure the AI, and onboard you onto the IndoAi dashboard and app — finishing with a handover and walkthrough.

What do I need to provide for installation?

Typically a power source at each camera point, mounting access, and an internet connection (broadband or 4G/5G SIM) for remote and cloud features. Any site-specific civil work is defined in your quote.

Do you do a site survey?

Most systems are planned digitally with our online tools, so no visit is needed. For large or complex sites we offer a physical survey, which is chargeable and adjusted against your order if you proceed.

How long does installation take?

A typical small system of up to 8 cameras takes about a day; 8–20 cameras around 2–3 days; larger sites are phased. We confirm the schedule with your quote.

Will you train my team to use the dashboard?

Yes. Onboarding includes a dashboard and app walkthrough plus basic admin training and documentation, so your team can use alerts, footage, and reports confidently.

Can I install IndoAi cameras myself to save cost?

Yes, for simple plug-and-play kits, with remote guidance from our team. For larger or AI-critical deployments we recommend professional installation so camera placement supports the analytics.

Shipping & Delivery

Where does IndoAi deliver?

IndoAi delivers across India.

What are the shipping charges?

Shipping is free on orders and projects above ₹25,000. Smaller accessory orders carry a calculated shipping fee shown at checkout.

How can I track my order?

You can track your order status in your indo.ai account, with email and SMS updates and a courier tracking link as your shipment moves.

What if my equipment arrives damaged?

If equipment arrives damaged in transit, report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos and the serial number, and we'll arrange a free replacement.

Do you ship outside India?

Not at present. IndoAi currently delivers within India only.

Data, Privacy & Security

Where is my footage stored?

You can choose on-site storage (an NVR or edge device at your premises), IndoAi cloud hosted in India, or a hybrid of both — whatever suits your retention and access needs.

How long is footage kept?

Cloud footage is retained for 30 days by default and is configurable to 7, 15, 30, 60, or 90 days by plan. On-site retention depends on your storage sizing, which our storage tool calculates.

Who can access my footage and data?

Only the users you authorise. Access is role-based, so you control exactly who in your organisation can view, export, or manage footage.

Is my data encrypted and secure?

IndoAi uses encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and India-based data residency for cloud storage. Security is central to how the platform is built.

Do I own my surveillance data?

Yes. The footage and data captured by your IndoAi system belong to you, the customer.

Is IndoAi compliant with India's data protection laws?

IndoAi is committed to handling personal data responsibly and in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 — through purpose-limited collection, role-based access, India data residency, and a published grievance process.

Is facial recognition legal for my business?

Whether and how facial recognition can be used depends on your purpose, location, and applicable law and guidance. IndoAi helps you deploy it responsibly — with appropriate notice, signage, and purpose limitation — and we recommend confirming the obligations for your specific use case. We do not enable unlawful surveillance.

What happens to my data if I stop using IndoAi?

You get a 30-day window to export your footage and data, after which it is securely deleted from our systems.

Support, Warranty & AMC

What warranty do IndoAi products come with?

Cameras and recorders come with a standard 2-year warranty; accessories such as mounts, cabling, and power supplies carry a 1-year warranty. Warranty starts from the date of delivery and covers manufacturing defects.

Can I extend my warranty?

Yes. An extended warranty add-on takes camera and recorder cover to 3 years for a one-time fee — ask our team for pricing on your system.

What's covered vs not covered under warranty?

Warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover physical or accidental damage, water ingress beyond the camera's IP rating, power surges or lightning (unless surge protection was supplied), tampering, unauthorised repair, or misuse.

Do you offer an AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract)?

Yes, in three tiers. Basic covers remote support, software and AI updates, and dashboard health monitoring; Standard adds two preventive-maintenance visits a year and priority support; Premium adds advance hardware replacement, a faster SLA, more visits, and optional 24×7 support. Comprehensive (parts included) and non-comprehensive options are available.

What support is available if something stops working?

IndoAi provides support by WhatsApp at +91-8208436017, email at connect@indo.ai, and in-dashboard tickets, Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM IST. Premium AMC customers can opt for 24×7 support.

What is your support response time?

Critical issues, where a whole site or system is down, get a first response within 4 business hours. Major issues, like multiple cameras or a key AI feature down, within 1 business day. Minor issues and how-to queries within 2 business days.

How do I get a faulty device replaced?

Once a hardware fault is confirmed under warranty, we dispatch a replacement within 3–5 business days. Premium AMC customers can receive advance replacement to minimise downtime.

Can issues be fixed remotely?

Many software, configuration, and AI issues are resolved remotely through the IndoAi platform, avoiding a site visit. Hardware faults may still need on-site service.

Yes. Schools use IndoAi for entry and exit monitoring, perimeter security, and campus-wide oversight, deployed with appropriate care around student privacy.

How does IndoAi help retail stores?

Can a multi-location business manage all sites together?

Yes. IndoAi's multi-site dashboard lets chains and groups monitor every location centrally, with role-based access for each site.

Disputes & Grievance Redressal

I'm not happy with my order — how do I raise a concern?

What is IndoAi's return and refund policy?

Sealed, unused catalogue items can be returned within 7 days of delivery for a refund, less return shipping; opened but unused non-defective items may carry a restocking fee. Custom-configured or installed systems are non-returnable except for defects. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Can I cancel my order, and will I be charged?

You can cancel before dispatch. Before any planning work, your deposit is fully refunded; after BOQ or design work, a planning fee may be retained; once procurement or custom configuration begins, the deposit is non-refundable. Delivered goods follow the return policy.

What if the delivered system doesn't match what was quoted?

If there's a genuine mismatch between your confirmed quote or BOQ and what was delivered, IndoAi will correct it. Contact support with your order details and we'll make it right.

What if installation is delayed?

We keep you informed of the installation schedule and any change to it. If a delay is on our side, we work with you to reschedule at the earliest and keep you updated throughout.

How do I escalate an unresolved complaint?

If support hasn't resolved your concern, it can be escalated to the Support Manager and then to our Grievance Officer. Email connect@indo.ai or call +91-8208436017 and ask for the matter to be escalated.

Who is IndoAi's Grievance Officer?

Our Grievance Officer is Eric Fonseca (eric@indo.ai). To raise a grievance, write to connect@indo.ai or call +91-8208436017. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days, within the statutory maximum of 90 days under the DPDP Rules, 2025. Unresolved data-protection complaints may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India.

What if I have a billing or payment dispute?

Raise billing or Razorpay transaction issues with connect@indo.ai, including your order and payment reference. We review billing disputes promptly and process any approved refund to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

What if a partner misrepresents IndoAi?

IndoAi authorised partners must follow our standards. If an authorised partner misrepresents our products or pricing, report it to connect@indo.ai and we'll investigate.

Can I supply cameras or hardware to IndoAi?

Yes. IndoAi works with vetted suppliers of cameras, recorders, and surveillance hardware. Your products must meet our quality and integration standards so they work within the IndoAi platform. Write to connect@indo.ai to start the evaluation.

I've built an AI model — can I offer it to IndoAi?

Yes. We partner with developers of specialised AI and computer-vision models — detection, analytics, and similar — that can be integrated into the IndoAi platform. Share your model details with connect@indo.ai and we'll review fit and integration.

Can I supply accessories or related technology?

Yes. IndoAi sources accessories and complementary technology — mounts, networking, storage, power, and adjacent hardware — from reliable suppliers. Reach connect@indo.ai with your catalogue and terms.

Will my hardware be sold under my brand or IndoAi's?

The customer-facing front-end — dashboard and app — is always IndoAi-branded. We integrate supplier hardware into the IndoAi experience so end customers get one unified IndoAi system. Hardware branding and white-label terms are agreed in the partner agreement.

Can I become an IndoAi installation partner?

Yes. IndoAi works with installation partners across India to deliver and set up systems for customers. Installation partners handle mounting, cabling, device setup, and commissioning to IndoAi standards. Apply via connect@indo.ai.

Do I need certification to install IndoAi systems?

IndoAi provides training so installation partners can deploy and commission systems to our standards. Get in touch and we'll share the onboarding details.

Can I become an IndoAi distributor or reseller?

Yes. IndoAi offers distribution and reseller partnerships for businesses that want to sell IndoAi solutions in their market, with competitive margins and support shared on qualification. The product and platform remain IndoAi-branded throughout.

What support do distribution partners receive?

Distribution and reseller partners receive sales enablement, product training, technical support, and lead-sharing, so you can sell and support IndoAi confidently in your territory. Details are shared during onboarding.

Does IndoAi offer APIs or integrations for technology partners?

Can I reorder or expand my system later?

Yes. You can add cameras, AI features, or new sites at any time, and they'll be unified under the same IndoAi dashboard.

I forgot my dashboard login — how do I recover it?
