The IndoAI platform is an AI camera platform with three parts: an appliance that runs vision models on cameras you already own, a catalogue of more than 65 installable AI apps, and app.indo.ai as the single screen your team uses. Inference runs on site, so video stays on your premises.
Two layers, and only one of them is ours
Most surveillance vendors sell you a whole stack and ask you to replace what you have. IndoAI separates two decisions the industry usually bundles.
Your capture layer, meaning the cameras and recorder already on site, stays exactly as it is, whichever manufacturer supplied it. IndoAI provides the intelligence layer above it: the models that decide what is worth a person's attention, and the workflow that gets it to them. That is why the platform works alongside hardware from any mainstream CCTV brand rather than competing with it.
If you would rather buy the capture layer from IndoAI as well, you can, and many customers do because a single vendor is simpler. Both routes end at the same dashboard and the same support contract.

DPDP Rule 4 commences on 13 November 2026. Organisations processing personal data through video systems will need to describe what they collect, why, for how long and on what lawful basis. Running inference on site narrows the hardest category of question, which concerns personal data replicated to infrastructure you do not control, and privacy, face and licence plate masking redact at the point of capture. Notice, lawful basis and retention policy remain your organisation's obligations.

What exactly is the IndoAI platform?
Three components working together: the EdgeBox appliance running vision models on site, a catalogue of more than 65 installable AI apps and packaged agents, and app.indo.ai as the dashboard your team uses daily. IndoAI also supplies cameras, installation and support where you want a single vendor for the whole deployment.
Do I have to replace my existing cameras?
No. The platform reads RTSP and ONVIF streams from cameras already installed regardless of manufacturer, and analog estates connect through an encoder. Your capture layer stays as it is, and IndoAI adds the intelligence layer above it. Camera count often falls after a proper design rather than rising.
Is IndoAI a competitor to camera manufacturers?
No. The two-layer model is deliberate: hardware manufacturers supply the capture layer and IndoAI supplies the intelligence layer that runs on top of it. The platform is designed to work alongside mainstream CCTV brands, and IndoAI can also supply cameras where a customer prefers a single vendor.
Does my video leave my premises?
Not by default. Inference runs on the appliance on site and raw footage stays there. What travels, if anything, are events and evidence packs you have chosen to route. One exception is the Hybrid AI Boost tier, where the heaviest models are cloud-assisted, and those are opt-in model by model.
How do I find out what my site needs?
Describe the premises and your concern in plain language to the AI Advisor. It returns camera placement traced to named risks, blind spots measured, appliance sizing, the model mix per channel, and an itemised bill of materials including the lines most quotations leave out.
